Enriching Washington County Communities Through STEAM Education

Making STEAM learning come alive for our community

Making STEAM learning come alive for the community

Making STEAM learning come alive for the community

We are focused on integrating  science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics to foster interdisciplinary learning and creativity in students.  Classes are held on Saturday mornings.

Adult classes offer an enriching environment for lifelong learners.  Join us to learn how to use Microsoft or Google applications.  Reach out if you are interested in setting up a class for you and your friends.

The annual SWPA STEM Fest engages students in STEM applications while also increasing their awareness in career opportunities.  Join us on Sept 13th in downtown Washington.  Admission is free.

Scholarship Opportunities

The SWPA STEM Fest offers a $500 scholarship opportunity for high school juniors and seniors.  Look for the application here in late summer.

About

Washington STEAMworks Inc, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was created with the intent to become a fixture in the region, and we are always looking for opportunities to further engage with the community.  There are five individuals on our board, who are fully invested in the mission, growth and development of the organization. Our goal is to provide educational experiences for the residents in our region that promote creative thinking and a love of learning, in addition to supporting current and future workforces through technology education.  Washington STEAMworks is powered by a group of individuals who are passionate about providing hands-on learning experiences and cultivating creative spirits.
